About
Writer/director Jeff George graduated NYU's summer film intensive and the UCF film school ("Blair Witch"), where his senior thesis "g.p." won honors from numerous film festivals (Best Experimental, Crested Butte Reel Fest). Director of fifteen short films, commercials and industrials, and writer of seven feature screenplays, Jeff has also worked as Assistant to the Producers (Louis Phillips, Mike Medavoy) on "Basic," and Camera PA on "The Punisher," (D.P. Conrad W. Hall, Writer/Director Johnathan Hensleigh). After a brief hiatus launching and running a handful of businesses, Jeff returned to film and was awarded a screenwriting grant from Creative Pinellas, penning "Monarch," an adapted screenplay (Official Selection, Oaxaca Filmfest), and consulting on scripts as a founding member of a screenwriting/ development group.
